UQuest Atlanta 2013 was our first large scale adventure race.  It was very exciting to see all the participants show so much energy before, during, and after the race.  A funny story regarding Atlanta 2013 was during our planning and research we discovered that many people during these types of races don’t return to the finish line.  The UQuest team was ready with finishing medals and beverages but about 15 minutes before the race was over we started to get nervous.  All of the sudden a wall of people turned the corner to finish before the clock ran out.  Needless to say we were ecstatic that participants enjoyed themselves and got the most out of the adventure race.
